Here is someone interested in forming a panel. Her e-mail at the end of this e-mail. Thanx!

Shigeru

My name is Xiaoxia Song. I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Ohio University. What you stated in this email is very well said. I am very interested in joining your paper panel if there is any room.

I am working on my dissertation, which is on the effects of a medial psychoeducation intervention to Chinese participants in their attitudes and intentions in seeking professional psychological help. In our prior study, we constructed a four-level cross-cultural help-seeking model (CCHS) by adding cross-cultural variables to the conventional three-level help-seeking models that well studied in the West. The four level CCHS model had superior fit than the conventional three-level model across both U.S. and Chinese samples. The media intervention is framed around the CCHS. We plan to present to paper based on these data. One is to further assess the CCHS model with a sample after media intervention. the other is to assess the effects of the media intervention to Chinese people in their attitudes and intentions to seeking help. We plan to submit one to the SPR, and the other one to SEPI.
