Thanks, Geoff & others for interest - in fact, this is the second paper we've published about the Adolescent Psychotherapy Q-Set - both papers draw on Ana Calderon's PhD work. The first paper was more of a measure validation study, although included some exploration of CBT and STPP...

Calderon, A., Schneider, C., Target, M. and Midgley, N. (2017). The Adolescent Psychotherapy Q-set (APQ): a validation study. Journal of Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.

If anyone is doing research on adolescent therapy, and has audio- or video-recordings of sessions that they'd like to examine using the APQ, please do let us know!

Best wishes,

Nick

Congratulations, Nick! Is this the first empirical study to report on APQ interaction structures? Great job!

Dear all

Delighted to share news about two new publications from our ChAPTRe team here at the Anna Freud Centre – one about the Lighthouse Parenting Programme (a mentalization-based programme for parents of at-risk children), and the second exploring interaction structures in psychodynamic therapy with depressed adolescents (based on data from the IMPACT depression study) – both published in Clinical Child Psychology and Psychiatry:

https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1359104518807734

Happy to share copies back channel – or (for those of you not familiar with it) you might want to register with ResearchGate ( https://www.researchgate.net/ ), where like many other researchers I put all of my publications, and where you can access lots of publications by other child, adolescent and family therapy researchers!

Best wishes,

Nick
