Hello colleagues

I have recently had the experience of being told that there is evidence that individual therapy for children who have severe attachment and conduct disorders or difficulties, is contra-indicated. I wasn’t aware of significant evidence to rule out individual, along-side parent work for these cases - can anyone shed some light on this?
