Dear colleagues

We are in the process of setting up a new clinical trial, called the ERiC (Emotion Regulation in Children) study, evaluating MBT for children with mixed emotional and behavioural problems. (The formal launch is next week – I’ll share more info then).

We are looking for a child therapist or clinical psychologist (or other allied health professional) who works in ‘generic’ CAMHS in the UK, who would be interested to join our Trial Steering Committee (TSC). The commitment is not huge (2-3 meetings per year max.), and would offer an opportunity to get a sense of how a clinical trial of this sort works ‘from the inside’, as it were.

If you would be interested, could you email me directly (i.e. on nick.midgley@annafreud.org – not the CAFTR e-mail address), with a couple of lines about yourself and the setting in which you work, and I’ll get back to you. We’re looking to have a first meeting in September.

With thanks in advance,

Nick
